I am a philosopher and historian of science. I conduct research in a variety of areas: I am involved in both the philosophy of computer science, the theology of science and the methodology of philosophy. I also conduct research on philosophy in the Kraków center with collaborators.

- Head of the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at Faculty of Philosophy (Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków).
- Editor-in-Chief of the journal Philosophical Problems in Science (Zagadnienia Filozoficzne w Nauce).
- Vice-President of the of the Commission on Philosophy of Science. Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences
- Member of the Commission on the History of Science of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.
- Member-expert of the Committee on the History of Science and Technology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
My research interests:
- History of Polish philosophy (specialization: philosophy of science and analytic philosophy of Lvov-Warsaw School)
- History of science in Poland (mainly 19th-20th c.)
- Philosophy in computer science
- Science-religion/ science-theology relations
- Technology-philosophy relations
