Philosophical seminar

Philosophical seminar is the first academic seminar in English at Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. This seminar is intended mainly for doctoral students, but it is open also for 2nd level courses students capable to learn in English.
There are two main branches of research:
#Philosophy of computing
#History of philosophy of science in Krakow

Discussions in winter semester will be focused on two topics:

  1. What is a computer? (due to call for papers in "Mind&Machines")
  2. History of Polish philosophy of mathematics in 19th century

Each participant must prepare a review of a philosophical book and one presentation connected with his/her research.
