Philosophical seminar

Philosophical seminar is the first academic seminar in English at Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. This seminar is intended mainly for doctoral students, but it is open also for 2nd level courses students capable to learn in English.

The research is focusing actually on two main fields (however is not restricted to these areas):
#Philosophy of computing
#History of philosophy of science in Krakow

Discussions in winter semester 2019/2020 will be focused on the topics:

  1. Role of tradition in philosophy (of science)
  2. How to write a research paper?

Each student must prepare a review of a philosophical book and one presentation connected with his/her research.
